Meet the Team

Sheila Jordan

Sheila is the Co-ordinator and Community Development Worker with Open Circle Community Arts and will be your first point of contact with Open Circle. Sheila works to strengthen the links between women of Kilkenny and a range of local arts organisations, cultural venues, and individual local artists. Sheila’s role is to programme, manage and monitor Open Circle Arts engagements to ensure a high quality of engagement is strived for always. A visual artist herself with many years’ experience working in formal and informal Arts education settings Sheila brings a wealth of knowledge to Open Circle Community Arts. Open Circle Community Arts works in partnership with local and national agencies to foster sustainable community development, with the arts playing a dynamic role in addressing the needs of women in Kilkenny culturally and socially.
